The weather was rainy my first day in Tortugueira. At night the rain and wind were torrential. The power went out during the night and had not returned when I had to get up at 5 am for a canoe trip in the park. The ocean was across the street from my hotel. This is the late afternoon view of the angry Carribbean Sea.
