I flew from Detroit to Frankfort, Germany and then to Rome. About 13 hours in all. I arrived about 10am and took a cab to my hotel. I stayed at Hotel (Pensione) Barret in the center of ancient Rome. Great location. I was able to walk to all the sites. Here is a picture of the lobby at the hotel. My room was up the stairs. There are no elevators here. There are 3 flights of stairs to climb to reach the lobby.
