After the 7 hour trip from San Jose I arrived at the dock in Tortuguero. I was met by a rep and walked to the Hotel. The rain mostly stopped and we walked about 10 minutes to the hotel off the beach. The place was nice with a restaurant. The rooms were simple with a bed, table, and some space with a good bathroom (hot water shower). No air con but a powerful fan on the ceiling which was needed because of the heat and humidity. Overall it was comfortable for sleeping and relaxing. We did lose power a few time in the 3 days I stayed.
